Journeys

This term our topic is 'Journeys'.

In Science, the Y2 children will be learning about Plants.  The children will explore conditions for growth and observe how plants grow over a period of time.

In History, the children will learn the about the first aeroplane flight and how aircraft and flights have changed over time.  As part of out place study, the children will learn about the cities of Belfast in Northern Ireland and Sydney in Australia.

ln DT the children will make a moving vehicle.  They will also learn block printing in Art and create a picture based on the art of Andy Warhol.  They will also create a 3d sculpture made out of natural materials.
