Fire Fire!

This term our topic is Fire Fire!

In History, the children will be learning about the events of The Great Fire of London.  They will also be learning about the importance of Remembrance Day.

In Geography, the children will be learning about the capital cities of the UK and will complete a place study on London.  They will also learn about the North and South Poles.

In Art, the children will be learning about famous sculptures and will create a 3d sculpture of a famous London landmark.  In DT, the children will design and make a Christmas Decoration. 

In ICT, the children will use Purple Mash to continue developing their ICT skills and will learn about questioning. In Science, the Y2 children will be learning about Everyday Materials. They will learn about the properties of materials and investigate the different uses that materials can have.
