Hallcroft Infant and Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We are fully committed to ensuring that consistent, effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff at school.
We follow the procedures set out by the Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Children Partnership and take account of guidance issued by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (in particular Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education 2007).
Safeguarding concerns don't only arise in term time – worries about a child's safety or wellbeing can happen in the evenings, at weekends and during school holidays. If you are concerned when school is closed, please use the services listed below (in an emergency call 999; otherwise follow the Children's Social Care and out-of-hours contacts provided).
